The Welding World awards are impartial, independent awards that can be won by anyone involved in the welding industry. The aim of the Welding World awards is to seek out examples of being the best at what we do.

Online nomination and voting will take place until the end of November 2017. All nominees awarded with 20 votes or more will then be invited to confirm their application. Successful applicants will then be invited to attend a judging day during February 2018.

The sophisticated Welding World awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday 11th April 2018 at the Hilton Metropole Hotel, Birmingham.

All nominees will have the opportunity to publicise on the Welding World awards website with the award winners having full on-going publicity following the award ceremony.

Welding World, the organisation that exists to promote the Welding industry is pleased to announce the winners of their 2016 Welding World Awards.

LEADING THE WAYON A NIGHT OF AWARD SUCCESS FOR THE WELDING INDUSTRY

On a glittering night of celebration heldduring the week of the prestigious MACHexhibition, a total of 10 awards werepresented at the Hilton Metropole Hotelalongside the NEC Birmingham and theevent was compered by the Rt HonMichael Portillo.

Along with the category successes, theassembled audience were also able tomark the achievement of lifetime awardwinner Peter Westerman and WeldingWorld Award 2016 winner Dave Ellwoodfor his services to the Association.

There was also a pause for reflection as

guests supported chosen charityMacmillan Cancer Support, while alsoremembering the sad demise of formeremployee, Wendy Barber whose namewas given to the Best MACH ExhibitionStand award in the Welding World villagewhich was won by Jasic. A raffle was held
