SQLSaturday Orlando is being held October 10th and we would like to invite you to sponsor out

ninth annual SQLSaturday. Come see for yourself where these events all started!

What Is SQLSaturday? Think of SQLSaturday as a one day conference attended by over 400 database professionals.

We bring in 40+ volunteer speakers who each give hour-long presentations from 9 AM through

5:30 PM. We have a dedicated area where attendees have the opportunity to mingle with

sponsors throughout the day. An electronic schedule for mobile phones is available for

attendees to choose their sessions and get to know the sponsors who are helping support the

event.

Each attendee's day begins at check-in where they receive a packet containing sponsor

provided materials and raffle tickets for each sponsor. Breakfast is served in the sponsor area to

maximize your exposure to the attendees. Lunch is provided onsite and the mid-day lunch

break serves as another great opportunity for you to interact with attendees. We have an

extended lunch break of one and half hours, dividing that in half, the first 45 minutes for lunch

time and the second 45 minutes dedicated to our top Sponsor’s spotlight presentations.

Sponsors provide prizes for a raffle at the end of the day; to enter the raffle attendees must

stop at each sponsor table and drop off an entry ticket. We conclude with a casual after-event

social at a local establishment where everyone can continue building on the relationships they

made throughout the day.

About the Orlando SQL Server Community SQLSaturday Orlando is led by two user groups, Orlando PASS (OPASS) and MagicPASS. Both

user groups meet monthly throughout the year, OPASS covering north Orlando region, and

MagicPASS covers south Orlando (Mickey’s neighborhood). OPASS has been established for well

over 9 years now, with a membership of over 1000 members. MagicPASS started in 2011 and

has a membership over 200. The launch of MagicPASS and moving OPASS further north has

enabled us to bring free monthly training to nearly triple what we were able to cover with just

the one user group. All marketing for our SQLSaturday between now and event day will be

going to all our members, as well as on our LinkedIn sites, and our nearby other local user

groups like Space Coast, Tampa, Jacksonville and South Florida. The Florida SQLSaturday

organizers are great about helping each other out with spreading the word!

Last year’s SQLSaturday Orlando had over 600 registered attendees, and of that, 470 attended

the event. That is less than a 25% dropout rate; this year our goal is to exceed 500 in actual

attendance. With your sponsorship and help we feel certain we can make that happen. We

encourage you to reach out to contacts you have in our area and let them know about the

event. We also recommend your staff coming arranging time to meet with your local

clients/prospects, so you can get more value for your money invested in sending staff for the

event.

for each level of sponsorship, including some we’d like to highlight:

Eblasts to opted in registrants provided to Gold (1) and Platinum (2)

Opted in mailing list provided post event to Gold and Platinum

Your collected and scanned raffle tickets provided in Excel post the event

Opportunity to present a 45 minute marketing presentation during lunch (limited to first

4 Gold and all 4 Platinum)
