Standard Setting for Calibration

> Incisal Pin set to „0“. > Articulator settings in average :

> Benett angle 10-15°> Condyle inclination 30-35°

>Take out the model plates of Artex articulator.

>Take out the magnets using the magnet lifter.

>Loosen and unscrew the magnet pot with assembly key.

>Screw in the mounting plate instead of the magnet pot down to the lock.

>Unscrew the magnet pot from upper plate>Place the upper plate to the upper arm of the Artex

>Bolt on the upper plate with the socket-head cap screw to the mounting plate in the upper arm of the articulator.

>Replace the magnet

>Put the Artex-Articulator upside down and open the Centric.

>Place the Splitex-Key (216010C) on the upper plate TOP to TOP.

>Place the lower plate with the magnet on the key.

>Clean the glue plate and the lower side (milling) of the lower plate (grease-free)

>Spray the activator into the milling of the lower plate.

>Spray the activator on the glue plate.

>Put on two tracings of glue - left and right of the drillings. Not into the drillings!

>Close the articulator.

>Close the centric.

>Press the articulator frontal for approx. 5 sec. smoothly against the incisal pin.

>leave the articulator in position for 1 h00 before you can unmount the key

>For best results, use after 24 to 48 hours folowing the calibration
