“Spirit’s Call” is more than just a name.“Spirit’s Call” is more than just a name.“Spirit’s Call” is more than just a name.We see the “spirit” .. in many ways .. virtually every time we are here. With luck , “sightings” occasionallyfind their way into a camera .. and onto paper.A few years ago (2006), Jackie agreed to “sign” for one of the choir’s songs. The photos to the left, were taken at practise and in concert. Spirit expressing!

The collage to the right depicts an aboriginal healing ceremony taking place, (same year) in the auditorium where we still practise. Michael .. , our director at the time, had become subject to a very painful medical condition, but was determined to guide the choir through the upcoming concert. choir through the upcoming concert. Gary, a former choir member, offered to conduct the ceremony.Interestingly one of the songs we performed in concert that year was titled “There is a Balm in Gilead.”

Spirit's Call is about answering the incredibly powerful quiet voice within us to reach out, reach up and reconnect to that which is bigger than us. Margaret, your love, your light, vision, dedication and effort have created this amazing community in which others' hearts respond, adding their own voice, their own light, with love and generosity to bring joy into the world.
