The ear thermometer reads your temperature by measuring infra red energy which is heat

Edible Toothpaste

• This was developed so that astronauts would not have to spit out the toothpaste as they cleaned their teeth

• It would not be very pleasant if they had to spit in zero gravity

Space Pen• Most pens need

• The space pen has a pressurised ink cartridge that forces the ink out.

• On earth these can be use to write with the pen upside down

Invisible Braces

• These are used to straighten teeth and are made of a nearly invisible ceramic material.

• The material was made by NASA when they needed strong materials for spacecraft and aircraft
