Operation Homefront Louisiana is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit corporation which provides emergency financial and other assistance to the families of our service members, to the families they leave behind, and to wounded warriors when they return home. These direct services alleviate a military family’s emergency financial burden, as well as counseling and recovery support. Emergency financial assistance is in the form of checks paid directly to mortgage lenders, auto mechanics, contractors, hospitals, doctors, dentists and other providers.

DISTANCE: 3 Miles (Distance may be slightly adjusted due to conditions day of the race)

PLACE: Bonnet Carre Spillway Boat Launch Pavillion, Norco, Louisiana (15 miles west of New Orleans)

DIRECTIONS: From New Orleans: Proceed west on I-10, exit I-10 at I-310 South, continue 1-2 miles to Hwy. 61, Exit Hwy. 61 west towards Norco and LaPlace. Continue just past the Shell Oil Refinery just before the Spillway Bridge. Turn right onto the Spillway Boat Launch access road. Signs will be posted on Airline Hwy. (Hwy. 61) near the race site.

From Baton Rouge: Proceed east on I-10, exit I-10 at I-310 East and head South. Continue per above directions.
