SKAC12O & SKAC24O Wheelie Bin AC AUDIT COVERS An Environment Agency spokesman has reported that 77% of emergency spill kits on site are not

complete and would not provide the equipment to deal with the spill for which they are intended.

Why are emergency spill kits so often half empty and full of drink cans and used rags? How do you

Natural Bonded WHITE OIL ONLY ROLLS removes hydrocarbons off water, is tough, durable and won’t fall apart when it becomes saturated with oil, petroleum or diesel.

When you need a roll for every day workshop clean-ups of oil, diesel, solvents, insecticides, coolant and all water based liquids, choose our “Grey General Purpose Roll”. If you store hazardous chemicals like acids and caustics then choose our “Yellow Hazchem Roll”. All our rolls are perforated every 41cm are 46cm wide and can be separated into any size roll/mat or pad.

Use our absorbent rolls in high traffic areas, along walkways and near machinery to contain leaks and spills before they reach floor areas, preventing slip-fall accidents to employees.

2. GP POLY GREY LARGE BOOMS: Used to contain and absorb leaks and drips around machinery. Stops the spread of the liquid, allowing time to respond and clean-up the mess. Absorbs oil-petroleum-diesel derived liquids, water, solvents, insecticides, acids and caustics. Grey in colour, they are ideal for all those general purpose, day-to-day maintenance jobs.

Our low-lint booms form a solid chain surrounding the spill, stopping it spreading, and are filled with a highly absorbent, polypropylene, hydrophilic sorbent fibre which will soak up and contain any hazchem spill.

Oil Absorbent Floating Containment Booms are ideal for any inland rivers, storm water canal power station water storage facilities, wastewater troughs, settling ponds, and any place where fuel or oil spills may occur. Choose between our standard 3mtr length oil boom and our 6mtr length oil boom, which ever meets your specific application. The Bund Wall was designed to contain and prevent liquids from mirgrating outside the area of its containment. Used primary as a wall that has a footprint which is only 14cm wide by 7.5cm high. The BUND WALL has a half moon collapsible sponge which is encased in a strong yellow truck tarp vinyl material, this provides a watertight, non slip surface, a round footprint surface to walk on or drive over. THE SCS SPILL BARRIER BUND has been designed to prevent a spill from migrating into the yard from your shed. SBB will accommodate the use of a forklift and any road vehicle with out damage to the unit. The SBB has a beveled edge on either side and a flat top surface which allows a forklift/vehicle to move unrestricted up and over the bund, without damage to the forklift/vehicle or the Spill Barrier Bund. READY TO USE - 30MIN AFTER INSTALLATION

THE SCS SPILL BARRIER BUND comes ready glued, so it only takes minutes and not hours to get up and running with your spill containment bunding. Just remove the plastic covering from the glue and adhere the Spill Barrier Bund. If and when you need to change direction ie. mitre around a corner, you will need the 250ml Tub of Selleys glue, to glue the mitred corner pieces. Its as simple as that! No bolts or other equipment is needed. Just the Spill Barrier Bund.

THE SCS SPILL BARRIER BUND will compress slightly, and is resistant to a wide range of chemicals. It can be used for any bunding application, and is also ideal used as a speed bump on concrete surfaces around the yard or carpark. (It is not suitable for use on uneven surfaces, i.e. bitumen and tar)

THE SCS SPILL BARRIER BUND is resistant to most chemicals and is ideal in both hot and wet weather conditions (as can be seen from photo below, when water is applied to the spill barrier bund to test a forklift for skidding).

THE SCS SPILL BARRIER BUND is supplied in one metre lengths, in 4 different sizes. If at any time you accidently damage a section of the Spill Barrier Bund, just remove the damaged section and re-place it with a new piece/s of SBB. Its as simple as that.

2. CONVENTIONAL OIL CONTAINMENT BOOMS is our most commonly used spill-response boom. Also called curtain boom, it is designed with semi-flexible internal foam flotation and a flexible fabric skirt. ABASCO conventional boom is available in sizes and strengths to contain spills in conditions from quiescent waters to open ocean waves.

4. ABASCO TURBIDITY CURTINS (also called turbidity barriers, silt curtains, or silt barriers) contain the silt and sediments stirred by in-water or near-water construction activities and by dredging operations.

The Double Tube Boom, perfect for oil spills on land and in calm or flowing waters. The large tube is unrolled on land, filled with air, drawn across the water and firmly anchored. Because the boom has little weight and little depth in the water, it has little or no resistance to the water flow, and can therefore be moved by a small crew without powerful equipment. Once positioned, the small tube is filled with water, submerging the boom, at least 18cm into the water. The boom is connected to the shore; the water filled small diameter tube easily follows any terrain up and down the shoreline without the need for tide slides. Connections for any type of inflator are available.

As the water and air filled tube will follow wave movements, a spilling of oil over the top is virtually impossible.
