In order to help our 20 operating sites and offices in the Philippines, India, Vietnam, China, Nicaragua and the United States, we launched the I Got Green campaign to help raise additional funds to support our sites CSR programs. This is to augment the seed money that the company provides its 20 locations.Inspired by the ice bucket challenge, Maulik spearheaded the global campaign targeting Php2million pesos, all proceeds will go to our respective operating sites and offices for their CSR beneficiary. The goal is simple to raise funds by having fun, getting back at our bosses, and giving back to our communities. Each employee who will contribute will have the right to throw green powder at their colleagues, bosses, and even Maulik. To date, we have already exceeded its target, raising over Php2.16 million in just 3 weeks.Simply put, this global campaign of bringing all 20,000 employees supporting one goal represents what the company all is about. It is these simple acts of fun, togetherness and giving back that define our organization.VIEW: 2015 'I GOT GREEN' GalleryGawad KalingaSPi Global also supportsGawad Kalinga(to give care). With Springer Science + Business Media and Post NL, SPi Global is currently supporting 100 families in building new homes for the underprivileged families in the Philippines.Gawad Kalingahas seen remarkable success in transforming Filipino slums through the sweat equity of its many volunteers.
