INSTRUCTIONS: Resin comes ready to paint for the most part. If you fi nd slight imperfections on the surface you can sand lightly and wipe clean with a soft cloth. Refer to photos throughout for painting. Let dry between coats and steps. Some colors will require more than one coat to cover. Use the brush size you are most comfortable with for all areas.

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONSFor all initial basecoating, mix paint adhesion medium with the paint color being used according to the

instructions. Additional coats do not require paint adhesion medium.

Basecoat as follows:

• Snowman’s hat: Lamp Black• Holly leaves on hat band: Hauser Medium Green• Holly berries: Country Red• Had band: Indian Turquoise• Mittens: Foliage Green• Coat: Country Red• Pouch and strap: Milk Chocolate• Bell: Camel• Underdress: Camel• Snowman face and all fur trim on coat: Snow

White• Snowman’s nose: Canyon Orange• Scarf: Indian Turquoise• Scarf fringe: Camel

Snowman’s faceUsing Lamp Black, ‘dot’ the eyes and line the mouth. Using Country Red and a Q-tip, apply the cheeks.

Place a tiny ‘dot’ in the eyes with Snow White.

Holly LeavesUsing Hauser Dark Green, apply the vein lines.

ScarfApply the stripes with Camel. ‘Dot’ the Camel stripes with Indian Turquoise and the band closest to the fringe (which should be painted Indian Turquoise) with Camel.

BellBasecoat with Splendid Gold.

MittensUsing Hauser Medium Green, shade on the mittens closest to the bell on the left hand and next to the fur trim on the right hand.

UnderdressVery lightly apply lines to mark off pattern. Shade in these lines with Honey Brown. ‘Dot’ the intersections

of the lines with Honey Brown.

Check Area at bottom of underdress: basecoat every

other check with Foliage Green. ‘Dot’ the Camel checks with Country Red.

Pouch‘Dot’ the fl ap of the pouch with Lamp Black. Apply the stitch-ing lines with Dark Chocolate. Freehand apply the lettering with Lamp Black.

FinishWhen dry, spray with several light coats of Matte varnish. Enjoy!
