Evrybody pitched in to make our school festival
a big success. More than seventyfive people
volunteered. “Is there annything I can do to help?”
was heard all morning long.
After a picnic lunch, students from the highschool
demonstrated skaitboard safety and skills. They

Then some parents, teachers, and students formed
basket-ball teams. Other people danced to the
rockband that performed at one end of the field.

Then my parents and I went home, and Mom built a
fire in the fire-place. I sat there for a long time, just
watching the flames.
