2. In case of Quotation of F.O.R. Station of dispatch basis, the purchaser will not pay separatelytransit insurance and the supplier will be responsible until the stores arrive in good condition at thedestination. Tender/quotation in which transit insurance has been specified by the firm as an additionalitem of expenditure is liable to be ignored.

3. The QuotationlTender shall be accompanied by Earnest Money (unless exempted) ofRs. /- in the form of Demand Draft from a Commercial Bank/Nationalized Bank issued in favourof Station Engineer, Central Stores, AIR, New Delhi-110001. Tenders without EMD shall be summarilyrejected and their bid will not be opened at the time of tender opening (No exemption for payment ofEMD is accepted by this office).

4. No printed terms and conditions of tendering firms will be considered. Firm has to follow all theterms and conditions as mentioned in the tender enquiry by the Purchaser.

5. GUARANTEEIWARRANTEE PERIOD: It should either be atleast one year or as mentioned inthe Purchase Order.

6. TERMS OF DELIVERY OF STORES The delivery of the entire stores at AIR's site shall becompleted within 45 days from the date of placement of order or as mentioned in the Purchase Order.The powers of extension of delivery period are vested with the sanctioning authority.

7. TERMS OF PAYMENT: The payment of the material will be made only after receiving the materialin good physical condition or after testing the goods in the circuit.

8. The quotation should be sent in a sealed cover addressed to the Assistant Engineer , Room No.446, % the Dy. Director(E), Central Stores, Akashvani Bhavan, Parliament Street, New Delhi -110001,so as to reach on or before 03:00 P.M on 02/12/2013.THE COVER SHOULD BE SUPERSCRIBED WITH THE FOLLOWING:

a. Material for which quotations are enclosed.b. Reference to letter of enquiry.c. Due date of opening quotation.9. The quotations will be opened in this office at 03:00 P.M on 02/12/2013 in the presence of

tenderers or their agents such as they may choose to attend.

10.QUOTATIONS NOT PROPERLY SUPERSCRIBED WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.

11. The Quotations submitted shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 90(Ninety) daysfrom the date of opening of the Tender. If any Tenderer/Suppliers withdrawn his Tender/Quotationbefore the said period or makes any modifications in the Terms & Conditions on the Tender/Quotationwhich are not acceptable to the Department , then the Government shall, without prejudice to any otherright or remedy, be at the liberty to forfeit the Earnest Money as aforesaid.

12. Both your PAN- (Permanent Account Number) and TIN- (Tax Identification Number) shouldbe definitely indicated in your quotation.

13. Any type of tax which is applicable shall be mentioned separately in the quotation. Where this isnot mentioned, claim for any type of tax will not be admitted at any later stage and may not be grantedwhatsoever.

14. The test certificate of the material is essential to be enclosed with the supply . This office canalso ask for the test certificate of the manufacturer's in specific case. The Goods are subjected toInspection before acceptance.

15. RIGHT OF ACCEPTANCE: The sanctioning authority reserves the right to reject the lowesttender or all the tenders without assigning any reasons whatsoever. And the right for change thequantity of material tendered depending upon the actual requirements. The unit rate quoted on thetender shall be applicable for the quantity for which order is placed. All QuotationslTenders in which anyof the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled or are incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.On the physical appearance of the material during supply, if it is realize that rates quoted by the firm are

All the Design sections of DG: AIR & Zonal offices were informed during budget meetings thatthe C-Band receive RNT is being modified. The modified RNT will work with 2.4M PDA. A non proprietyASI stream is used in the uplinking system, hence this modified RNT will works with any professional aswell as commercial C - Band feed & LNBC, IRD and DTH Set Top Box available in the open market. Inexigencies the receive RNT can easily be set up at very low cost of about Rs. 25,000/- to Rs.30,OOO/-using all commercial components available in the markets:

Now onward all C-Band RNT shall be procured by Zonal offices. Therefore all zonal offices shallmodify source of supply in the existing DTE form "Directorate" to "Zonal Office" for all ongoing project,where RNT is still to be provided.

Specification for modified RNT approved by ADG (E-Dev.) is enclosed here with for procurementof RNTs for all projects where RN:r is still, to be provided and for future projects wherever RNTisenvisaged. .. '.

tag blocks suitably mounted along with all the equipments.

3.8 STEREO AUDIO MONITORING EQUIPMENT:The Tender shall good quality, field proven, hi-fi 5+5 Watt professional grade stereo

monitoring amplifier, capable of 24x7hr~ operation along with a set of two matching speakers. Theequipment shall be' capable to accept AES/EBU & Analog inputs. The' Stereo Audio Monitoringamplifier shall be rack mountable.

3.9 L BAND 1:4 POWER DIVIDER:Tender shall quote for good quality, field proven L - Band 1:4 power divider, capable of

24x7hrs operation suitably mounted in the rack.

3.10 LAPTOP:Laptop shall be of reputed make with licensed OS and ~preloaded NMS of the RNT

equipment and' accessories, back-up CD I DVD alo~g with proper irives etc. It shall be used forcontrol and setting of the operational parameters of Digital Receivers and accessories of the RNreceive Terminal. Laptop shall be rack mountable (sliding). i
