Terms of Enrollment:Students should apply at least four weeks prior to the program’s scheduled start date.
Students should check-in on Sunday and check-out on Saturday. Extra nights of stay can be added for $75 dormitory and $55 homestay.
Students should arrive between 2:00-9:00 PM. For students that use our transfer service, FLS will communicate and arrange the arrival and check-in with the host family.
Students are expected to leave their housing by 12:00 PM on the day after their program ends. Students who request to leave housing after 12:00 PM on Saturday should note that such requests are not guaranteed, and if granted will incur an additional housing charge.

The Cambridge B2 First Exam (formerly known as the FCE) is recognized around the world as a reliable indicator of English proficiency. Testing all aspects of English ability, the exam is your opportunity to prove you can succeed in an English-speaking environment. This program includes training in all aspects of the test: taking part in mock conversation and discussions, practice in writing in varied formats, listening to real-world English in diverse contexts and understanding a variety of written texts. You’ll also get motivated to practice your English on our varied activities, from tours of New York University and Columbia University to a visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
