Our Mission Formed in 2014, Caster Construction is a growing commercial concreting subcontractor servicing Greater Melbourne. Led by Director Ben Castelluccio whose industry experience is going on 20 years we have been successful in establishing ourselves as a key partner for numerous commercial contractors within Melbourne and are continually seeking to revolutionise the relationships which we share with our clients. As a family owned and oriented business, all employees of Caster Construction embody the values which come with family; trust, honesty and duty of care. OUR SERVICES With an extensive portfolio of dozens of commercial

concreting works, Caster has the privilege to provide our concreting and excavation services to numerous sectors including multilevel residential, retail, office, aged care,

education, civil and landscaping. Areas of works which we are experienced in include:

STRUCTURAL

Including slab on ground with footing systems and multilevel suspended

slabs. Our experience also encompasses internal elements such as

columns, off-form and stairmaster stairs and ancillary works such as

patching, grouting and grinding

CIVIL

Civil works within both new developments and existing roadways and pavings including kerb & channel, side entry pits, spoon drains, retaining walls, splitter islands and shared user paths, compliant as per local city council specifications.

LANDSCAPING

Our vast experience in landscaping features coloured and exposed aggregate concrete, unique decorative saw cuts, paver bases, sporting infrastructure such as tennis and basketball courts as well as project specific concrete feature items. Our most unique example is our feature retaining wall for Mandalay Estate listed in Our Portfolio.

OUR PORTFOLIO Project: Aspire - Marque Contractor: JMC Group With a footprint of over 15,000m2 across 11 storeys and 2 basement floors, the architecturally immaculate Aspire building of the larger Marque complex demanded the highest of standards. Caster’s success in achieving a structural competency for all 117 apartments on par with its sharp modern veneer is a pinnacle representation of our multilevel concrete work.

Project: 352 Bell St Contractor: MAV Group The multipurpose building of 352 Bell St encompasses both retail fronts and apartments with a total of 8500m2 of concrete across 4 storeys and a basement. Given its location at the heart of Melbourne’s north, the logistical considerations behind the concrete elements of this project required efficient use of space and coordination between our concreting team, truck deliveries and traffic management.

Project: Port Capacity Project Contractor: BMD Group Proving that no job is too big for us, the Port Capacity Project was encapsulated firstly by 10,000m2 of civil concrete works across shared user paths, splitter islands, roundabouts and kerb & channels. In addition, the architectural component included a further 9,000m2 of exposed aggregate shared user paths.

Project: The General, Northcote Contractor: Ausform Constructions

Centrally located on the popular High Street, The General

features 4 retail tenancies and 88 luxury apartments across 8

floors. Caster Construction is proud to have delivered a

defectless structure to meet the high end fitout of The General.

Project: Mandalay Estate Contractor: JMAC Constructions

As one of our most prominent landscaping projects, Mandalay

Estate incorporated the construction of unique off-form feature

retaining walls later to be integrated with coloured exposed

aggregate paving.

Project: Northpark Private Hospital, Bundoora Contractor: Kilbury Group

We are proud to have been involved in the addition of a new

building to the Northpark Private Hospital with both the slab

on ground and suspended slabs at 600m2 each being placed

by Caster

Project: 360 Orrong Road, Caulfield North Contractor: MAV Group

Handling pours of up to 500m3 at a time, Caster was able to

successfully deliver 9000m2 of mixed conventional and post-

tensioned slabs. ORR Apartments features Ground Floor retail

as well as 64 apartments across 5 floors along with 3

basement parking floors, all of which were graded.

Project: Pace of Northcote Contractor: Pace Development Group

Succeeding in a close tender race against some of

Melbourne’s most established and reputable concreting

subcontractors, Caster are fortunate to be undertaking our

largest structure to date for Pace Development Group. The

final result will be 114 apartments across 8 floors with 2

basements and a total of over 17,000m2 of concrete slabs.

Project: 1 Shiel Street, North Melbourne Contractor: MAV Group

Designed by Fender Katsalidis, one of Australia's premier

architectural firms, we are proud to have embarked on the 6

storey structure in the rapidly evolving multi-residential

landscape of North Melbourne. Dealing with the logistics of a

corner site and a roundabout with 5 points of entry, the project

was a healthy challenge for us

Project: 715 Malvern Road, Toorak Contractor: MAV Group

Accommodating 19 luxury apartments in Melbourne's most

prestigious suburb, Caster's scope included 4 floors plus 1

basement level on the busy Malvern Road.

Project: 114 Hoddle Street, Abbotsford Contractor: MAV Group

Working within the tight confines of the arterial Hoddle Street

and the retention of a heritage listed façade, Caster delivered

4 floors for MAV Group including ancillary items such as off-

form stairs and reinstatement of civil infrastructure

Project: OAC Brighton Contractor: Lloyd Group

Project: 46 Kylta Road, Heidelberg West Contractor: Rella Plastics

Co-ordinating directly with the client, we were successfully able to fulfil

their business growth requirements. Caster Construction delivered a full

industrial extension to the clients existing base of operations with works

including slab on ground and tilt panels adjoining to existing structures.
