Our family centered maternity care program includes:• 36 suites, including labor/delivery/recovery rooms, postpartum rooms and high-risk antepartum rooms• 40-bed Level III Special Care Nursery, staffed by neonatologists and multidisciplinary team• Giraffe OmniBeds® for intensively ill infants• 20-bassinet newborn nursery• 24-hour availability of OB epidural anesthesia• Remote fetal monitoring in some physician offices• Level III perinatal center for high-risk pregnancies• Internationally board-certified lactation consultants available prior to and after delivery• Electronically filed birth certificates• Birthday Bell to announce your celebration throughout the hospital• Mother’s Choice, letting you decide how you want your care delivered• Professional nursing staff that truly cares about this special time in your life• Bella Baby newborn photography

The Women’s Center is more than just a place to have your baby.Our Great Expectations Society offers most programs free of charge*.

Our programs include:• Childbirth Education, including weekend classes• Baby U; education classes on a variety of topics, led by physicians• Breast-feeding classes• Parents Healing Together infant loss support group• Mom-To-Be Tea• Women’s Center tours• Sibling Birthday Party• Lactation counselors available for breast-feeding support in the hospital and after discharge• Breast pump rentals and sales

University Hospital is a full-service hospital providing programs and care designed for women of all ages. Weoffer services to meet every woman’s needs, including weight management, plastic and reconstructive surgery,stress management and mammography, as well as referrals and education offerings for women from puberty tomenopause.
