2IntroductionThere are several reasons why people are not able to attract the jobs that they truly want; every
one of us dreams and some people think they are not worthy of their dreams. Some people are
currently living the dreams of others and some people want change and take no action, primary
reason is comfort zone, seniority and fear. Being in a comfort zone is never a good thing as you will
start to procrastinate, and procrastination is a result of fear. Fear on the other hand is a lie that
exists in the human mind and I aim to prove it to you.
My name is Ajitpal Singh, owner and co-founder of Gill Success Systems. I used to be just like you an
employee from the time I graduated around 2001 till 2013. In my 12 years of my career, I achieved
super success, started of selling cakes with a company, working in a security company, selling gym
memberships, working in a call center of the largest financial institution in the world.
That was where something changed in me, I realize my career is not going anywhere, I had
ambitions, but I didnt set any goals for myself.
This is a story of how a call center agent of a bank, rose in the ranks and grew to be the
project Manager in New Jersey, United States, Assistant Vice President managing Malaysia
for the largest financial institution in Malaysia and retired of the employment market as a
Regional Manager managing Asia with the biggest online recruitment company in Asia.
Best of all is all the jobs I wanted came knocking on my door instead of me applying for them.
It took me 12 years to achieve this, knowing what I know now; I could repeat these successes in
half the time. That is what this report about, how do you achieve any success you want with less
effort from your part.
Read on to understand how simple is it for you to achieve any success you want, that is my promise.

3Part 1: Why people are not
attracting the jobs that they want?
EconomyHow many people you know in the employment blame the economy for their lack of
ambition or success in careers? In my years of employment, I know many who did the
same. Yes we are faced with inflation, yes the prices of necessities are going up and yes lots
of things didnt happen the way we wanted it to be. These are all external factor and we
have little or no control over such elements. What we have control over is ourselves. The
problem is many people today so fixated and keep complaining that they fail to take action.
The same inflation is faced by every single person in the world, however, we have a group
of employees who complain and take no action, and we have millions of people around the
globe who have a new job, a new career, new benefits, and new paycheck. These people did
not complain, they took action. Yes the economy may dwindle the number of jobs available,
however why are there millions of jobs still being made available each day?
There isnt such thing as the perfect economy for everyone. The question is whatyou do with the
time that is given to you. You take action or you sit
idle, both has a price to pay, the question is which
price are you willing to pay.
Bad ManagementThis is a famous one; I know many people I meet in
my talks and seminars who are not satisfied with
their management. My question to them is simple,
what are you doing about it? I mean obviously you
cant go change the culture or management style; you
have little or no control over that. You have control
over yourself and your thoughts, so why are you not
changing? Either change jobs or change departments.
When a group of people with different backgrounds, experience and cultures come together in a
department or a team, there are bound to be differences, question is how you are adapting to them.
Most people expect the group or department to adapt to their style. Yes this is possible, and to do
that, you need to rise up the ranks. I am not saying to carry yourbossesballs either, what I mean is,

4find out what the culture is like in the team/ department or company, study the culture and onlythen start to implement your ideas. Most of us carry ideologies of our previous companies to thenew companies only to realize the ideology is not acceptable in the new environment. Rather than
change, people tend to complaint. I really wonder, has complaining changed the world? The answer
is no. Action changes the world.
Good ManagementHere is another good one, I know some people when they are offered a great position with a great
package in a company that is respected and the position is in line with what they love to do. Some
people I know turn down the offers. Reason is, I cant find managers like my current managers
anywhere else. I mean this is a load of rubbish. How would you know the leadership of the new
environment is worst? If your source of research is friends, wake up! They only know as much as
you do.
Yes I agree good managers and good leaders are rare commodity these days. However, that does
not mean you be with them just because of that. At the end of the day, your ambitions and theirambitions are different. To pursue your ambitions, you must sacrifice who you are for a better
tomorrow. Adopt the good leadership skills of your leader and become a leader yourself, and tell
the world your leader is your source of inspiration. That is a better way to thank them.
ComplaintWell the above points do touch on complaining. The question here is, do you see successful
people complaint? No, the successful people take action. They are result oriented and they
pursue their dreams. I personally do not see any purpose of complaining, do you know any
achievement was a result of complaining about the government, the economy, the
management, spouse, children, traffic jams? I mean come on, its time to wake up and take
responsibility. No one is going to come to you with a silver platter unless you earned it. If
you earned it, not one but you will be served with millions of silver platters and that is
what you want. You have one life, why spend it on complaining about others? Human
beings can so creatively
come up with excuses
and reasons for their
inability to act, and only
if we acted and spent
that time we complaintto be more proactive,
we would achieve so
much more. New doors
will be made for you
when only walls existed.
Why do people talk of the horrors of old age? It's
great. I feel like a fine old car with the parts
gradually wearing out, but I'm not complaining,...Those who find growing old terrible are people
who haven't done what they wanted with their
lives

5By talking negatively about something, especially in most cases when people bitch aboutthe economy, government, family, spouses, they too will emit that energy. It is a well-known fact like attracts like. Why would any thing good come to you, when all you do is
bitch about everything that is already been given to you?
Let me end this topic by asking you this, have you seen a successful complainer?
Dumb ExcusesI know someone who is an executive at the age of 35. He has been with this company for the last 9
years. When I asked him why you dont want a promotion several years ago, he told me, not now,
now I am focused on getting married, I wont be able to focus on my marriage and the responsibility
of a leader. After a few years, I asked him again, when are you going for a promotion? This time, he
said, no, now my wife is expecting my 2ndchild, I cant get promoted now, who is going to take care
of my wife if I have to work long hours?
So when the kids grow up, what sort of example will he give them? What sort of belief systems willhe instill in his kids? What sort of students, graduates would they be? Would they take charge of
their own lifes? No they wont! Parents are the first people that shape childrens internal
programing. I mean what sort of advice can he offer them when they come to him with a problem?
It would be silly if he starts to advise his kids on aiming for the stars when all he did was aim
for the ceiling for his home!
The reason why we make up dumb excuses is because we procrastinate. Procrastination is a result.
So what is the cause? The cause is fear, the fear of the unknown.
I have a personal friend, he married his college sweetheart and they have been lovey dovey from
day one. After marriage they bought a million dollar condominium in Kuala Lumpur and they have achild together. Last year, my friends wife passed away in a tragic drowning accident while being
pregnant with their 2nd child. He was shattered. Here is a man who lost everything, after a year of
that accident, he did not slip and crash; instead from a Senior Manager, he got promoted to a Head
of Department. Now when his daughter grows up and comes to him for advice, what sort of advice
would he give her?
Life will beat you down to your knees, but
you need to wake up, stand up, walk and
start to run again. Its not how hard you can
hit, its about how much you can take and still
keep moving forward.
Your inability to take action will not only
keep you from achieving your dreams, you
are also in no position to guide the younger
generation. So stop giving yourself dumb
excuses starting today!
Using the power of decision
gives you the capacity to get
past any excuse to change anyand every part of your life in
an instant.

6ReactiveOne of my clients in her 40s was complaining every job that she has had as an engineer starts off
real well and soon it will go bad and she will look for another job. She complaints about her
workmates, her bosses and everything else. You have met people like this in your career, I am
certain of that. In her recent job, she is waiting for a senior to teach her something that she needs tolearn to be able to perform her tasks. Can you see where I am going with this?
I mean why wait? If the senior is not free why not take the initiative to ask someone else? Ask the
manager to teach you if the senior is not free. We need to ask when we need something. Again, most
people are so reactive and they expect the world to move so they can get something done. That
is not how the world works, if you need something, go get it, and go find the information. At the end
of the day, the boss is going to ask you, if you didnt know and if he was too busy, why you didntask
someone else or why didnt you come ask me? What is your response to that?
Start taking action today! Start asking the right questions and start by planning your day out. Its
simple, yes its tedious, but it needs to be done.
BeliefsSome people I have met, they tell me they cant do it, they cant perform to the expectations, they
cant, they cant, they cant, they cant... fill in the blanks.
The fact of the matter is, you are powerful beyond measure, and the only person limiting yourself
is you!
These beliefs come from old programming, and these programmings come from parents, teachers,
work mates, bosses, peers, friends and the environment you are exposing yourself to. Beliefs are
nothing more than syntax in your mind, which lies deep in the amygdala that controls your
responses to new things, challenges and environments.
Changing your beliefs is simple if you know how, most people know they are limiting themselves,
however take no action to improve, so they expect the world to move for them! How dare these
people blame the world and others when they themselves take no efforts to change
themselves?
Mahatma Gandhi said it eloquently, for things to change, I must change.
EffortI have a personal friend, who migrated to Australia, he wanted a better career there, however, hecould not secure a permanent position in Australia and he returned home.
He applies for jobs via job portals & newspapers just like everybody else. He sends in at least 10
quality job applications per day. Apart of that, he walks in to companies that he wants to work with;
that he feels is in line with his career goals and aspirations. He seems to be getting better response
with that method. He is getting calls & people want to meet him up.

Part 2: 3 ways you are killing your
own success!
Your beliefsThoughts create emotion, emotion changes our physiology, our physiology becomes our body
language. If you have negative beliefs about the economy, the management, or even your inability
how would your body language be?
Communication is 70% body language, 20% tone and 10% words. At work, you may choose to be
positive; take a good look at yourself, all the positivity is merely words. Observe your tone at work;
observe your body language at work. It is so easy to know who is a demotivated person, despite
they are positive.
Your beliefs are a result of your programming in your mind! The reason you are not successful, is
because of your programming. Some people ask me, how would I know if my programming is
bad? My response is simple, you are the result of your programming, if you are happy with your
achievements, your programming is great, if not your programming sucks!

8A human mind is primarily filled with fears, and these are fears that have been preprogrammed inones mind. These fears have been preprogrammed by your parents, teachers, peers, work mates,bosses, society and friends.
If you agree that your beliefs are limiting your success, isnt now a good time to change those
beliefs?You are given one life, what you do with it its entirely up to you and your actions. Dontwaste a moment more on complaining and blaming, those are key factors of your belief systems and
its really holding you back.
GoalsIts a proven fact that only 3% of adults globally have
written goals. Without goals, its like telling a friend
you will meet her up without setting the date and
location. Therefore that appointment never ever
materializes.
Goals are your roadmaps to success. Before building a
house, you must have a blueprint; you cant build a
house with no idea how the house is going to look like.
If you have no clue how your future is going to look like,
its the same as building a house with no blueprint; you will get a house that is full of things to be
fixed and filled with leaks. In real life fixing things and fixing leaks is known as Fire Fighting
In part 3, I will give you a step by step guide on how to determine your goals, how to write your
affirmations and time investment you need every day.
Peers & friendsI have a client, who discusses everything with her peers and friends, the discussions will include
money problems, career problems and career advice. I asked her, are your friends of any AVP, VP or
CXO levels? She said no. My nextquestion is, what career advice can they offer you? They dont
know a thing more than you do. They too are looking up the Corporate Career Ladder and
wonders what is it like up there, and here you are asking for free advice. There is a saying Free
advice is the most expensive advice, the price you pay to rectify your errors are greater than
asking someone who has been there and done that.
Its your life, its your future, its your journey, its
your goal, its your dream job, why ask others? Whydoes other peoples opinion matter more than yours? If
3 friends say no its not a good idea, just because of
that, some people fail to take action. Its unacceptable
and foolish to leave your future in the hands of your
friends. In simple terms, its called stupidity.

9Part 3: Strategies on how to attract
any job that you want
GoalsHere is a 7 step approach on how you can start writing goals. Start today, not tomorrow, today!
1. Decide what exactly you want, if you want a promotion, a certain job in a specific companyor even a specific income, decide what exactly you want
2.
Write those goals down, a goal that is not written down is merely a fantasy.3. Set a deadline for this goal4. Make a list of all the things you can humanly possibly do to achieve those goals based on the
timeline
5. Organize the list in a sequence of priority.6. Take action on your goals. There is a law for this, its called GOYA, which means Get Off
Your Ass
7. Do something every day that moves you closer to your goal.Now here is a little exercise for you, write down 10 goals right now! Get a piece of paper, get a
pen; and write down 10 goals for this year. Do it now. Do not wait, do not procrastinate, there isnt
going to be the best time, the best time is now. Your future depends on it.
Now that you have written your 10 goals, ask you self, which one of these 10 goals you can achieve
within a month, 3 months, 6 months and 12 months. Now prioritize the list. Now take 5 of the top
goals and focus on them. Once you have achieved those, you focus on the next 5.
Write down affirmations daily, a study has been conducted in the University of Yale, US, on an
average; an adult human will write a maximum of 30 goals per day. Now here is the trick, out of the
top 5 you picked, Pick 1 that will make the most significance difference to you.
Here is how you write an affirmation: I am so happy and thankful now that_____
As an example, here is my affirmation when I joint the largest out sourcing corporation from USA as
an Operations Manager. I was 29 at that time
I am so happy and thankful now that, I am interviewed and hired by (company name) as an
Operations Manager for (department) on September 14 2009 and I now draw a salary of RMxxxxx.xx.

10I started writing this affirmation in May 2009, and in July, a head hunter from Kelly Servicescontacted me in June and the company called me up for my 1stinterview, then my 2nd interview inAugust and I got my offer letter on 5 August 2009. I started work officially on September 10 2009.
Now use the same principles outlined above and craft your own affirmation. Once you have
crafted your affirmation, here is what you do:1. Write down 21 affirmations in the same exact words, dont focus on your hand writing, it
will go bad after writing the same thing 5 times. This needs to
be done before you start your day.
2. Write down your affirmation on a small card that fits yourwallet. Every time you at your desk, when your thoughts are
wandering off, take it out and read it. I even read it when I was
at any traffic lights or when I was caught in traffic.
3. Before you retire to bed, read the affirmations that you wrotein the morning (21 times) 5 times to yourself.
4. Get a different notepad and write down 5 successes you haveon that day.
This alone will change your life dramatically. I promise you that. Yes
you need to invest about 2 hours a day, to do this, and to those people who complaint they dont
have 2 hours for themselves, I ask them, how much time do you think is worth spending for your
own success per day? 7 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour? Well if you truly are stretched
for time, at the least spend 60 minutes doing this in the morning, before you start your day.
The change begins with you.
LinkedIn.com BasicsBeing on LinkedIn.com isnt enough. There are so much of articles and information on how to fully
maximize your profile on the web. Here are the simple steps that I used that you can deploy easily:
1. Study profiles of high ranking professionals on the web2. Take notes on what you like about each profile3. Write your profile, it may take up to 2 weeks to update4. Strategize, add people of influence and lots and lots of recruiters5. LinkedIn.com has an option to update everyone in your network on your new updates, use that6. Aim is to have quality profiles in your network, if you have 500 people in your network, you will
appear in more searches comparing to if you had less
7. Every once in a while send a greeting to your network, just to keep in touch8. Join groups9. Ask interesting questions and post quality answers in groups, create affluence by influence

11Guerilla marketing for job hunting usingLinkedIn.comThe major distinction between traditional marketing and guerilla marketing is that guerilla marketing
uses creative unconventional tactics for a narrower purpose. A job search could benefit from thesetactics but it requires some extra courage, confidence and creativity. If you have a strong desire to work
for a particular company and your social media profile is up to date, this or something like it could be
the answer.
Reach for the top
Join a target companys LinkedIn group and make it your goal to connect with the president , vice
presidents and managers. Join other company related groups. Use the LinkedIn Send InMail and Get
introduced by a connection functions liberally. Being a group member enables connecting with other
group members on LinkedIn without an introduction. Send a personal note and not the default one that
is offered by LinkedIn. Request introductions from employees and move down the ladder and connect
with as many people as possible. This part of the process can be accomplished in a week or two but may
take longer.
Find your strongest links
Once you have a sufficient network with many contacts, identify one or more sympathizers who are the
most receptive to your quest. Make it clear that your goal is to learn about the company, culture and
people in the hope of eventually working there. Also connect with relevant 2nd level contacts in or
outside of the company. Thank all of the contacts for connecting with you with a nice personalized note
(not the default one).
Have some funGet some business cards printed with the heading, Hopeful future employee of XYZ Company. These
are available for under $10. Hand writing the note on them can work too, but having them printed will
have more impact. Make sure to put the link to your resume website on them. Now, ask to meet face to
face even if for only 2 minutes. There are lots reasons to offer such as:
To drop off a business card and resume and see what the workplace is like Just to meet and put a face to the profile To view the facility and get the feel of the environment Youre in the neighborhood and would like to shake hands You are researching the company and thought it would be helpful to see it
Bring your business cards and the list of your contacts with resumes and try to meet with as many as
possible if only to say hello. If the environment is business casual, try to fit in and do not wear an
interview suit. Send a hand written thank you to everyone you met with your business card if you have
one.

12(Note: If at this point you telling yourself, this is not for me, its you who are limiting yourself, be restassured, there is someone else just in your situation who is using unconventional methods to achieve anykind of success)
Follow Through
Most people skip or short change this critical stage. Add a discussion to a Linkedin group about howimpressed you were with the facility and company and how much you would like to work there. Send a
note to the president or vice presidents telling them how nice it was to visit their place of business and
meet their people. Follow up every week or so to see if there were any openings that you may be
qualified for but be careful not to be labeled a stalker. Email is less intrusive but a phone call is more
personal. This may be out of your comfort zone but repetition is necessary.
Keep it going & growing
You will eventually get a formal interview. Here are a few things to consider when using this orany similar strategy:
The ball is always in your court, so do not expect or wait for a response. Initiate contact. End every communication asking for other referrals of other people who could be helpful. Be a namedropper in all of your communications. Use formal titles, Mr. Ms., etc. Never apologize. You offer something of value. Be concise. Use the fewest number of words you can in your communications. Make it personal. Be friendly and upbeat. Be thankful. Follow up.
Dont quit prematurely. Getting your dream job takes a lot more these days than sending resumes out
hoping for a response.

successful every time. Follow the process.
