About Your Session Type Oral Individual or Panel Presentations: These one-hour sessions are intended for individuals or panels to present information related to the NORDP mission and to advancing the professional development of conference attendees.

Do I need to register for the conference?
Yes, please register online here. You receive complimentary registration for the entirety of the conference. Please use code SPINVITE when registering for the conference. You are encouraged to register as early as you can, but no later than April 15, 2019. Registration is required to present at this year’s conference.
Do I need to make my own travel reservations?
Yes, you will need to arrange all of your travel to and from the conference. Please contact the hotel directly to book your room. More information regarding lodging can be found on page 4.
Do I need to fill out Audio/Visual Request form?
Yes, if you require equipment that is not provided. This form is only for keynote, general, or group sessions and only needs to be submitted once for each session. This form is located here.
What equipment will my presentation room have?
Each meeting room will be equipped with the following items: • LCD Projector • Podium • Screen • A PC laptop with Windows (Macs will not be provided. If you are using a Mac, please bring your own
computer and connectors. We will have a few connectors but cannot guarantee we will have the type to fit your Mac.)
• Microphone and speakers (for larger rooms) • Panel sessions will have appropriate head table seating and microphone for panelists. In larger rooms,
risers will be provided.

Session Coordinator/Session Moderator Information:
A session coordinator/moderator volunteer will be added to each workshop and breakout session. They will assist in:
• Introducing the speakers • Keeping the session on time • Handout and collection of session evaluations

SPEAKER REGISTRATION & HOTEL INFORMATION
All speakers participating in the conference must register for the conference. To register for the conference, please register online here. The registration fees are:
NORDP Member/Sponsor Early Bird $640
After March 15 $760 Non-Member
Early Bird $950 After March 15 $1,080
Hotel Reservations: The Omni Providence Hotel is the official hotel of the 11th Annual NORDP Research Development Conference. Conveniently located within walking distance of the city’s main college campuses, historic attractions, gourmet restaurants, entertainment and more. Rooms are limited, please book as early as possible. Please visit the conference website for more information regarding hotel and travel: https://www.nordp.org/2019-conference-location Conference Room Rate: $199.00/single and $199/double occupancy per night, plus 13% tax for single or double occupancy. If available, rooms can be booked three (3) days pre- or post-conference at conference rate.
