Kapil Dobariya and Mr. Vishal Kukadiya from Unity Infoway company as expert for two
days.
This workshop cum training programme was aimed to provide hands on experience of
Spring, Hibernate, and JSF for web site developing, Smart database connectivity, and
integration with modules. The programme was also aimed to assist faculty members,
industrials, and researchers to understand about the Java specification for building
component based user interfaces for web applications. It was formalized as a standard
through the Java Community Process and is part of the Java Platform, Enterprise Edition
of business practices, new business technologies, and emerging technologies. This

Objective of Workshop:
Students what tend Spring, Hibernate and JSF will leave the course armed with the required
skills to design and implement Spring applications that effectively and transparently use
Hibernate to manage data persistence. This course provided them coverage of Hibernate
concepts and practices for interacting between Java and relational databases. The areas
addressed in this course range from data/class mapping and persisted object lifecycle and
management to how hibernate can be used in the spring framework. JSF is used to
Java specification for building component-based user interfaces for web applications. It was
formalized as a standard through the Java Community Process and is part of the Java
Platform, Enterprise Edition of business practices, new business technologies, and emerging
technologies.
Prof. Rahul B. Shimali (Head of CE/IT Department), CE and IT Department faculty
members of S.P.B. Patel Engineering College, Experts and participants were present at
inauguration function of workshop.
On 18th
February, 2015, Mr. Kapil Dobariya and Mr. Vishal Kukadiya from Unity
Infoway company were present as expert. First day of workshop was started with prayer.

for java platform. The workshop included Basics of Jsp & Servlets, Struts, Spring, Database
Interaction With Struts & JDBC, hibernate and JSF.
The role of each in implementation of any program was also discussed. The lectures reviewed
the basic of JSP, servlets, struts, spring and hibernate responded to the questions on how it
works.
The lessons included good practices for programming exercises. There were continuing
discussions in between the lectures. The participants took keen interest in discussions and
understanding the practical implications of good practices as well as new technologies for all the
sub-sectors of Java Platform.
