A. The more land conquered the more HELOTS there were!

1. Eventually they out numbered Spartans citizens 20 to 1

2. Spartans become Scared.

B. They must continue to be a very powerful army without any harmful outside influences.

A. Wanted to become the strongest people in Greece and take over all others by force!!B. How will they do this??

1.Have only strong people (men) -Kill babies that are not healthy

2. 7 year old boys sent to military camp -Little food, clothing, sleep outside,
