Click on NIC e-mail ID . If NIC email is already available

This Screen will be shown.

• Click on either of one will open up a form, fill it and submit (online).

7. What if your DSC is missing?7. What if your DSC is missing?Incase of loss / damage of token or loss of PIN,

locking out due to multiple wrong PIN’s, etc, theservice provider may levy certain charges forrecovery / reissue. Such charges shall be paidpersonally by the officer concerned and shall not bereimbursed.

8. Different classes of DSC.Class 1 Certificate: Class 1 certificates shall be issued to

individuals/private subscribers. These certificates will confirm that user's name (or alias) and E-mail address form an unambiguous subject within the Certifying Authorities database.

Class 2 Certificate: These certificates will be issued for both business personnel and private individuals use. These certificates will confirm that the information in the application provided by the confirm that the information in the application provided by the subscriber does not conflict with the information in well-recognized consumer databases.

Class 3 Certificate: This certificate will be issued to individuals as well as organizations. As these are high assurance certificates, primarily intended for e-commerce applications, they shall be issued to individuals only on their personal (physical) appearance before the Certifying Authorities.

Yes, SPARROW is available both on Internet and Railnet.

After NIC email Id is created the data of an officer has to beadded into SPARROW database. Only then the officer will beable to login to SPARROW.

12. How to register DSC?Step1: Install your Token Device in your Computer. a. Plug the device in your Computer USB Drive. Click on Run. This will install DSC Driver in your computer.

Step2: Update/Install latest Version of Java.1. Open Internet Explorer and Type www.java.com, 2. Clcik here the link “Do I have Java”.3. Click here “Verify Java Version2.3. Click here “Verify Java Version4. Click on Run 5. This will update the latest version of Data.

Step 3: Now user can register DSC in SPARROW. 1. Open sparrow.railnet.gov.in.2. Click on DSC Registration. 3. Click on Signing Certificate.4. Here the signing certificate is being configured.

13. How to register for E-signature?This is not functional right now, will be enabled

shortly. Once it is enabled the details will be posted on REIS webpage.

14. When E-signature will be available?

NIC and RBCC are working on it and will
