COCKTAILS
KIR
Kopiko Bay Sauvignon Blanc – Crème de Cassis
Originally called Blanc Cassis, the Kir is named after Felix Kir, mayor
of Dijon in Burgundy, who popularised the drink in the aftermath of
the second World War by offering it at receptions to visiting
delegates.
K IR ROYALE
Te Hana Reserve Cuvee – Crème de Cassis
Made popular in France after World War II, pre-dinner drinks have
never tasted better.
FRENCH MARTINI
Grey Goose Vodka – Chambord – Pineapple Juice
Developed in London’s Quo Vadis Bar in the 1990’s by Dirk Bradsell,
its not your traditional Martini due to lack of vermouth.
COSMOPOLITAN
Grey Goose Le Citron – Triple Sec – Cranberry Juice
Made famous by four women in a city… it is said to have originated
in San Francisco in the 1980’s.
RUSTY NAIL
Johnnie Walker Black – Drambuie
The favourite of Frank Sinatra and the Rat Pack, a simple drink with a
dynamic flavour profile provided by the blended scotch and
honeyed Drambuie – truly satisfying we say.
BRANDY ALEXANDER
DeValcourt Brandy – White Crème de Cacao – Cream
A pimped out version of the classic Alexander cocktail which swaps
out brandy for gin.

COCKTAILS (CONTINUED)
MARTINI
Bombay Sapphire Gin – Dry Vermouth
Can be served shaken but should be stirred. Bond swaps gin for
vodka, but it’s the quality of gin or vodka that matters.
AMERICANO
Campari – Sweet Vermouth – Soda Water
A cocktail you’ll love at first sip – they say that once you’ve tried it,
you’ll never get tired of it’s special texture and striking mixture of
flavours.
MARGARITA
Jose Cuervo Silver Tequila – Triple Sec – Lime
Invented in 1941 in Mexico by bartender Don Carlos Orozco for the
daughter of a German Ambassador Margarita Henkel who was the
first person to taste the drink.
BLOOD & SAND
Chivas Regal – Cherry Liqueur – Sweet Vermouth – Orange
Arguably the best known scotch whisky cocktail there is, the drink
was inspired by the 1922 silent film, Blood and Sand, that tells the
story about a bullfighter, played who makes a classic journey from
poverty to fame.
MOJITO
Havana Club Rum – Lime – Mint – Soda Water
Cuba is the undisputed birthplace of the Mojito. One story traces
the origin of Mojito to the 16th century where the cocktail was known
as “El Draque” in honour of the English sailor Francis Drake. Fresh
mint is at the heart of this beauty.

COCKTAILS (CONTINUED)
MAI TAI
Coruba Rum – Bacardi Rum – Orange – Pineapple – Amaretto
1944 was the year… Trader Vic’s, California, the location. A creation
put together for a bunch of friends from Tahiti, Victor Bergeron
discovered what friends described as “Maita’I roa ae!” or to put
simply, “out of this world”.
BETWEEN THE SHEETS
DeValcourt Brandy – Benedictine – Triple Sec – Lime
Created in the 1930’s in Paris at Harry’s New York Bar, a strong but
very easy to drink concoction.
LONG IS LAND ICED TEA
42 Below Vodka – Bombay Sapphire Gin – Jose Cuervo Silver
Tequila – Bacardi Rum – Triple Sec
This legendary, but simplistic beverage is drenched in mystery –
some stories never have a clear ending. Despite many claims for its
creation, its quite possible it was invented in more than one place or
time.
FRENCH 75
Bombay Sapphire Gin – Triple Sec – Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne
Dating back to World War 1, this combination has been said to have
a ‘kick’ – one that will make you feel the powerful force of a French
75mm field gun.
