* "c" followed by "e" and "i" sounds like "th" in the word "think". "c" followed by "a", "o" and "u" sounds like "c" in the word "cut" ** When "g" follows "a", "o", "u", "n" it has a hard sound, as in "gone". When "g" is precedes an "e" or "i" it is pronounced like a raspy version of the "h" sound like the Spanish "j" *** "j" is like a cross between "cat" and "hat". But if you give the sound "h" of English you will be understand - "v" is pronounced exactly like "b"- "q" is used in Spanish only with "ue/ui" to make the sound "ke-ki"- "r" is pronounced as a trilled "r". The same sound by beginning of the word like "rosa" - "y" is at the end of the word sound like "boy"
