Terminal overview
Through a combination of various antennasizes and RF output powers, the terminalcan satisfy any data rate requirement (up to2 carriers of 2 Mbps each).
The TNX-100 fulfills the highest standardsof reliability and availability.
The terminal offers, among others, thefollowing communication services that maybe required on-board: voice/fax, video anddata.
Its modular design allows different terminalconfigurations to be easily adapted to a largevariety of ships with minor modifications.
Highlights
• Different access methods are supported(FDMA, TDMA or CDMA)
• Local and remote monitoring and controlthrough the Indra control SW (Genius)
• Security available through customerfurnished crypto devices
• Safety systems: emergency off, switch offand mute functions
• Automatic satellite location and tracking
• Asymmetrical and bidirectionalcommunications
• Different modems can be integrated in theTNX-100 terminal depending on the enduser needs
• Antenna subsystem composed by twoantennas located in the two most suitablepositions to obtain the best combinedunblocked satellite coverage
• Full coverage of SHF military satellitecommunications bands
