SP2 Multi-Year Plan (2007-2015) Long-Term Goals

• LTG 1 - 1) prioritization of testing requirements, 2) enhanced interpretation of data to improve their human health and ecological risk assessments, and 3) decisionmaking regarding specific individual or classes of pesticides and toxic substances that are of high priority.

• LTG 2 -- probabilistic risk assessments to protect natural populations of birds, fish, other wildlife, and non-target plants.

• LTG 3 -- decisionmaking related to products of biotechnology.

OPPTS and/or other organizations use the results of ORD’s research as scientific foundation for:

• LTG 3 - Support EPA’s screening and testing program
