MISSION STATEMENTWHO WE ARE

We are a non-profit organization of motorcycle en-thusiasts from all walks of life. We lobby and educatethe government and the general public to promotemotorcycling in a safe and positive image. We en-deavor to enlist the cooperation and participation ofall organizations and individuals that share a similarinterest in preserving our American tradition of FREE-DOM. We promote motorcycle safety, training, & po-litical awareness. We ARE NOT A CLUB OR A GANG.We fund our work through toy runs, poker runs,campouts, and other motorcycle activities. We areyour neighbors & friends who work, pay taxes, andget involved with our community. We serve and sup-

port our country and believe in freedom. We use alllegal means to protect our rights without infringingon the rights of others.

OUR GOALS

To become a powerful and viable political force inlegislative matters concerning the motorcyclist.

To promote the safe riding habits without infringingon individual freedoms.

To motivate the bikers to write letters to their legisla-tors before, during, and after the legislative session.

To furnish our members with a newsletter to keep allbikers informed in regards to upcoming legislation.

Thank you, for helping us make the 12th An-nual Lee County Church Crash and Slow RaceChampionship of the Universe, one of the bestever!This was the first year we've held the "Crash"at a commercial site. We were curious as tohow well it would be received and how things

would flow. Well, the Gallo family at GulfCoast Motorcycles came through, more thananyone could have imagined! Then, there wasthe first time partnership with Bikers forChrist.Todd "KC" Burns, elder of the local BFCChapter, and their members completelypitched-in to coordinate and put the muscle be-

hind the event.And, there were you guys who attended.Thank you!Just a few words form the "Crash" sermon...If you dont know Jesus as your personal sav-

ior, God is calling you to his Son through yourconscience that is Gods Holy Spirit. Its that

small voice within your deepest thoughts thatkeeps saying, Its time to give yourself to Je-

sus. Its time to accept the Fathers forgive-ness and become a part of His family. You

can still be a biker and know Jesus. Many be-lieve that if Jesus was physically here with usnow and could be physically seen He would briding with us, telling us how much He lovesus. He would be telling us how He wants us t

spend eternity with Him. And, He would betelling us how He would want us to have life,more abundantly here on earth.

If you want Him now and there is someonehere who has never given a prayer of invitatiofor Jesus to come into your heart, please prayafter me, right now. "Dear God, the God ofAbraham, Isaac, and Jacob, my heavenly Fa-ther, I confess that I am a sinner and have been

PRESIDENTS REPORT: Frankie called

the meeting to order at 10:30 AM with

Pledge and moment of silence. Frankie in-

formed chapter that Marsha, Burnout

Bobs wife is ill and to keep her in our

prays. Also reported on the following mem-

bers, Ken Teddy Bear Miller is out of, the

hospital and with us today, Trudy is still re-

covering from her last bout with chemo.

Also Keep Ron and Brenda Berg, Lyn andRob Assenio, Jim Rosser and Theresa

Baker in our prays.

Aprils meeting will be moved to the 3rd

Sunday due to Easter falling on the 4th

Sun-

day.

Todays senior wish ride has been post-

poned and the run today will go to the

Swamp Cabbage Festival after todays

meeting.VPs REPORT: Wayne absent and excused,

no report

SECRATARIES REPORT: Scott made a

motion to accept the December minutes as

written in the newsletter, Ken Teddy Bear

Miller seconded. Motion pasted.

TREASURERS REPORT: Rob Big Bird

has updated the accounts and reports are

almost complete. Rob made a motion to ac-

cept report subject to audit, Ray seconded.

Motion carried.

SARGENT AT ARMS REPORT: Be safe,

no report.

MEMBERSHIP: Position open at this time,

looking for someone to step up.

NEWS LETTER: If you are not receiving

your newsletter on line by e-mail please

make sure to send her an e-mail and put

add to e-mail list in the subject line. Every-

thing going in newsletter needs to be to

Barb by Wednesday after meeting. New ads

must be turned in a week before meeting to

get board approval

LEGISLATIVE: Ken Teddy Bear gave

an update on the stiffer penalties bill.

WEB SITE: Please check out web site as it

is being updated by Taylor.

SAFTEY: Chapter visited a nursery schooland spoke with kids about motorcycles and

had photos taken with the kids.

OLD BUSINESS: Chapter was updated on

the state meeting. March meeting we will

vote on by-law changes. No line item

changes allowed. Please review proposed

changes in the Master Link. State will still

support the discrimination bill. The dele-

gates voted on this and pasted by a small

margin

New Business: No new business
