INTINERARY

Day 1

This morning you will depart for

London via private motor coach.

Upon arrival in London you will meet

your tour guide who will take you on

an overview tour of London, pointing

out many of the major sites. After

your tour you will proceed to your

accommodation to leave your bags. You will then have free time to explore

London before traveling independently to the heart of the West End where you

will be seeing a theatre production at one of the famous London theatres. (Theatre ticket included.)

Day 2

Set out early for The Tower of London where you will have the opportunity to view the exclusive Opening Ceremony which is not

accessible to the general public. Your Yeoman Warder will meet with you before the event to explain its significance. Following

the ceremony you will have free time to explore the Tower independently before making your own way to St Paul’s Cathedral

where you will partake in an independent tour. The remainder of the day is yours to explore London on your own.

LON11 FROM OXFORD TO THE BEATLES

Day 2: (B)

After breakfast you will have a guided tour of Liverpool focusing on the Beatles. You

will see locations including Mendips (the former home of John Lennon), Penny Lane

and Strawberry Fields. Following this you will proceed to the city of Manchester. It is

home to the famous Manchester United football club which will be your first stop. Here

you will have a guided tour of the grounds before checking into your accommodation

for the night. In the evening you will be free to explore the city.

Day 3: (B)

Following breakfast you will check out of your accommodation and make your way back down South. En-route you will stop

briefly in the town of Royal Leamington Spa, a picturesque town known for its saline springs. You will then visit the beautiful

Warwick Castle where you will have free time to visit the castle before proceeding on to Southampton.

With over 40 theatres in Theatre Land alone,

London is the natural choice for those interested

in the dramatic arts field. Your day will begin

when you board your private coach which will

take you directly into the heart of London. Your

first stop will be south of the river, where you will

tour the spectacular Globe Theatre. A replica of the original Globe theatre, which

was an Elizabethan playhouse here you will explore the exhibition, take a private

Nourished by natural hot springs, Bath offers a

unique experience with stunning architecture,

and iconic attractions. You will begin your day

by visiting the pre-historic monument of

Stonehenge en-route to the city of Bath. Here

you will have the opportunity to tour the

ancient stones at your leisure. After visiting Stonehenge you will proceed to Bath

where you will begin with a guided tour of the city. Bath is a spa town, and in

1987 was inscribed as a World Heritage site. Following free time for you to

explore the city you will enjoy entrance to the Roman Pump Rooms, which is

considered to be Bath’s premier tourist attraction. After your visit you will return

to Southampton via private coach.

being home to the Royal Residence - Windsor

Castle. Originally built by William the Conqueror

this spectacular castle is a must-see on any UK trip. Your guide will take you

around the town, pointing out key sites including Eton College, where both Prince

William and Harry went to school. You will then visit Windsor Castle where you

will be free to spend time not only in the castle, but also exploring the grounds

before returning to Southampton for the evening.
