Will Murray Foundation
• Will Murray would have been a part of this year’s Under 15 Interleague squad, but a
tragic accident resulting in him becoming a quadriplegic occurred around this time last
season. Unfortunately the nature of his injury meant no insurance was available to
cover his ongoing medical requirements.
• Last year we raised money for the Will Murray foundation by collecting a gold coin
donation from each player at every training session. We intend doing the same again in
2017. Please bring a gold coin to every training session to help raise money for this
cause so dear to us.
• Will’s father Nick is one of our Under 15 Boys coaches this season, underlining the
Murray family’s commitment to football.

Auskick Visits – Giving back….
• Our current crop of Interleague players would almost all have come through the
Auskick program.
• In order to show support for Auskick, and to inspire a new generation of young
footballers who aspire to achieve the best they can we will send the players who make
our teams to their various Auskick centres in full Interleague uniform to show the
youngest members of the football community what they can aim for.
• Our Girls Interleaguers were the first ones to model this initiative last season, and
were such a hit that we have expanded it to encompass all age groups within the
Interleague system.
