DOG OWNERS IN SOUTH LAKE UNION CELEBRATE NEW TEMPORARY OFF-LEASH AREA AT DENNY PARKSeattle Parks and Recreation, Vulcan Real Estate and Amazon.com invite the com-munity to a celebration for the new tempo-rary off-leash area in Denny Park on Friday, March 30, 2012 from 3 – 5 p.m. Denny Park is located at 100 Dexter Ave. N. and the temporary off-leash area is in the north-cen-tral sector of the park. It will be open during park hours 4 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. daily.The event features music by Spruce Street School marimba band, dog treats from Scraps Dog Bakery, and snacks from Dining Dog Café and Bakery and Dante’s Inferno Dogs."We know how much dogs add to the ex-cellent quality of life in South Lake Union,” says Ada M. The Panang Curry ($11) always pleases with a thick red curry sauce that is slowly cooked with coconut milk, maroon lime leaves, onions, bell peppers, and then textured with ground peanuts, served with any meat desired.
