We have highly qualified and experienced staff to ensure the

correct tariffs are used when importing goods. We also are an

accredited customs agent with SARS.

We offer Marine Insurance to our customers which covers

door-to-door Insurance on their cargo.

SAMC has it’s own marine policy underwritten by a leading

insurer and we offer competitive rates and benefits. We

negotiate premiums, lodge declarations and handle claims

when the need arises on our customers behalf. We insure

many of our customers goods, giving them peace of mind that

their goods are insured while in transit.

The South African Mercantile Corporation (Pty) Ltd is acting as

a mandated juristic representative of Eikos Risk Applications

(Pty) Ltd (ERA), member of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group a

registered Financial Services Provider (FSP License number 481).

We monitor each shipment’s progress through our internal

shipment tracking system, which allows our customers to

know the progress of their shipment at any stage, from point

of pick up to point of delivery.

The solutions we offer are specific to customers requirements

including priority status reports, which is unique and greatly

assists customers to manage their imports and inventory.
