AKG has announced the DMS700 V2 digital wireless system with 512 bit encryption, lower latency,

increased working range and a new DPT700 bodypack.

DMS 700 is also now available with the premium D7 microphone capsule, and with UK-specifi c channel presets covering channel 38 and more. Existing DMS 700 systems can be updated through a software update to gain the 512-bit encryption, AES/EBU output, 0.5ms improved latency, and improved link quality. The hardware upgrade further decreases the latency of the analogue outputs, increases the DPT 700 microphone gain and a higher headphone output.

With this year’s addition of the new Court 3 show court and Court 4, the existing single BSS BLU-Link transport, despite carrying 256 channels of fault tolerant, low-latency audio at 48kHz/24bit across a standard CAT5e connection, had vastly been exceeding capacity.

JBL Professional has announced an upgrade to its popular CBT Series

(Constant Beamwidth Technology™) column loudspeakers, with the inclusion of new pan and tilt brackets allowing increased versatility of aiming adjustment.

JBL also announced optional MTC-CBT-FM flush-mount brackets for close-to-the-wall mounting of the CBT speakers. The bracket includes a wall piece plus speaker piece that combine together in a simple drop-in configuration.
