Do you ever wonder why some groups sound good performing live and others do not? Let’s focus on the sound! This course is intended for anyone interested in learning about live sound reinforcement. You will be introduced to the basic concepts of microphone selection and placement, the right equipment for a space, soundboard operation and monitoring, digital mixer navigation and platforms, as well as the use of wireless systems. Let us teach you how to make your group sound like the pros. Class is held at the Center for Fine & Performing Arts building. Instructor: Todd Mitchell
