Cartigliano Vacuum Dryer combines:

Leather drying process in the Vacuum Dryer represents a delicate and fundamental

phase. Leather must be dried from the wet stage and thanks to this process, definitive

aesthetic, dimensioning and flatness characteristics are enhanced.

Advantages of low temperature drying technique:

A-CNSA Complete New Story

· New Cartigliano vacuum dryer mod. “a-CNS”: an extremely

compact unit, less floor space needed than any other traditional plant

(- 40% floor space required, - 30% number of tables).

· Minimum pressure drop along the pipeline of vacuum circuit delivers

an increase of capacity and efficiency of vacuum group.

· Extremely reduced pumpdown times of each tables.

· New generation cartigliano vacuum pump.

· High efficiency: + 37% drying capacity.

· Minimum electrical consumption (- 38% respect to the previous

model), thanks to the optimization of rotor structure and to the

innovative design of integrated electrical motor, ie2 efficiency,

controlled by inverter.

· Vacuum system capacity 3 times higher respect new turbo model.

· Highest reliability: integrated protection function via temperature,

exhaust pressure and current consumption.

· Low noise level.

· Vacuum pump connected directly to the cartigliano roots to

increase suction capacity, high performing system, completely new

and innovative, maximum efficiency in short cycle operation

thanks to a special integrated by-pass channel with a newly

developed control-flap.

· N. 1 high efficiency cleaning cyclone with automatic discharge

valve, to preserve vacuum pump from any possible residual and

to increase efficiency.

· Anti-acid material vacuum pipes more resistant and more flexible.

· Condensers: new condensers’ configuration, for optimization of

evaporated water flow.

· Condensate discharge duct: no more re-evaporation.

The Freezing Drying

Thanks to the lowest drying Temperature, the new Cartigliano a-CNS

Vacuum Dryer introduces a new Drying frontier, that permits a very deep

and natural drying and grants a perfect thermo-fixation of the fibres

without the normalknown shrinkage of the area.

Being the leather a natural product, as our skin, we have realized that

duringall drying treatments the leather must never exceed 37°C. Only

this way, we respect and enhance the natural quality of the leather, wi-

thout ruining it.

The leather is almost completely dried at around 20% residual moisture.

The leather perfectly thermo-fixed into the a-CNS will not tend to shrink

anymore, nor during the following drying/conditioning stages but it

remains full, round and soft.

Patented 1000 m3/h. Optimized combination of Dry Screw Pump and

Roots for a constant efficiency from 1000 to 1 mbar (absolute pressure).

Vacking

During these years Cartigliano has developed a new type of

Vacuum dryers called: Vacking

This machine is the synthesis of Cartigliano technology. Efficiency and

simplicity is the key of this machine that can work with extremes

environments conditions without any problem for a long time.

We realized a machine that joint the exigency of our customers to buy

a vacuum dryer with the maximum of quality and performance that only

a Cartigliano machine can afford. The Vacking is equipped with different

vacuum pump circuit, able dry uniformly and constantly also heavy duty

leathers.

This machine is available in three models:
