Bad weather conditions are affecting North Italy causing severe precipitations in the northernareas of Liguria, Toscana and Emilia Romagna. The precipitation is causing much impact onthe water basins with several rivers now in a flooding phase (Enza, Sorbolo, Secchia...). Therequest concerns flood delineation and impact mapping including that of a levee break.The present map shows damage grade assessment in the area of Sorbolo (Italy). Thethematic layer has been derived from post-event satellite image by means of visualinterpretation. The estimated geometric accuracy is 5 m CE90 or better, from nativepositional accuracy of the background satellite image.The map and the information content are derived from satellite data without validation byground data.
