Join us for our festive celebration of inspirational music from the Baroque and modern eras – the perfect way to get yourself, friends and family in the Christmas mood.

Directed by the enigmatic Andrew Watkinson, this concert programme includes a masterpiece adored by all music lovers, Bach’s Concerto for Two Violins, and the angelic aria Eternal Source of Light Divine by Handel (which you may recognise as the accompaniment to the soaring wheelchairs in this year’s Paralympic games Opening Ceremony).

Our soloists include Lytham-born soprano and rising star Caroline MacPhie (pictured) – described by The Daily Telegraph’s Rupert Christiansen as “clean-toned and perfectly tuned …with flair, style and musical imagination” – and Prestonian violinist Sarah Brandwood Spencer.

This concert will last for approximately 2 hours including an interval, and we warmly welcome all ages.
