10 draw wind-down of advance buy

10 draws prior to the launch of the new Lotto 6/49 (Wednesday August 14, 2013) advance buys of the old Lotto 6/49 will begin to wind down to not extend into the first sales day of the new Lotto 6/49. For example, a player can advance buy a maximum of 10 draws on Wednesday August 14th, nine draws on Saturday August 17th, eight draws on August 21st and so on.

An error message will appear if more advance buys are keyed in than allowed.

Everyselectionmustbeuniquein order to ensure there is only one winning selection for the Guaranteed Prize Draw. If players were able to choose their own selections, there would always be the possibility that two players could have the same winning Guaranteed Prize Selection, and therefore have to split the $1 million prize.

8. Can there be two tickets with the same Guaranteed Prize Draw Number?

No,theGuaranteedPrizeDrawSelectionsareunique,andtherefore,two tickets will not share the same number.

9. Can two tickets share the guaranteed $1 million prize?

As the Guaranteed Prize Draw Selectionsareunique,twoticketswill not share the same number. The winning selection for the guaranteed $1 million prize only will match one 10-digit selection.

10. Do I get a different Guaranteed Prize Draw selection for each draw included in an advance buy purchase?

No,withanAdvancePlaypurchaseyou get the same Guaranteed Prize Draw Selection entered into each draw included in your Advance Play purchase. As each draw is an independent, random draw, it does not affect your odds of winning the guaranteed prize.
