Shelcat www.shelcat.org Search the library catalogues of 8 Health Boards, 5 National Services and 2 health partner services Enriched catalogue records include book covers, table of contents, summaries [on selected titles] Place a reserve on items which are out on loan at your home library or place a request for items held at other Boards and services Access your borrowing account online to check what you have on loan, their due dates, and to renew items yourself Cross-search other library catalogues, e.g. University libraries, national libraries
To use all Shelcat functionalities you must have a Shelcat library card – ask at your local library if they are involved in Shelcat and they will give you a library membership application form.

The Knowledge Network's programme of virtual training sessions offers real time training on a selection of its password protected databases. These databases provide online access to collections of full-text articles and journal references to articles.
