For Sekai & Library Integration
Library resources are important for
teaching and learning environment.
Instructors select materials
appropriate to the curriculum, not
based on online availability and
persistent URLs.
Students often unfamiliar with library
resources.
Librarians need to push library resources
into Sakai in a way that students would
expect.

• SIPX’s contributions to learning affordability are important and critical to
our customers and to the higher education marketplace
• Our existing feature set does not fully meet our vision, or the needs of our
customers, and must be significantly developed
• Leganto provides complementary features that do meet many of these
needs; combined with SIPX nearly all existing needs can be met as well as
many additional
• We are moving fully ahead in developing a combined product that puts
SIPX’s learning affordability capabilities into Leganto
• Current SIPX platform will close in 2018 with an option for existing
