CRES (Vassiliki DROSOU) participated in the event and presented EU-SOLARIS project with a presentation in the conference and throughout the conference by interactive communication at several conference’ activities (sessions, parallel events etc).
CIEMAT-PSA (Eduardo ZARZA) also attended the conference and gave a speech on CST technologies.
METU GÜNAM (Derek BAKER and Raşit TURAN) were also present at the conference, as organizers of Solar TR-3.

Project presentation
The EU-SOLARIS project was presented by CRES (Vassiliki DROSOU) in the SOLAR TR-3 conference on the 28th of April 2015, during the session named “Concentrated Solar Power (CSP)” (see Annex I and II)
After the event
Brief description of activities, conclusions, next steps, recommendations, etc.
SolarTR-3 shared and discussed the latest research and development results on solar technologies. All kind of Solar technologies from high efficient wafer based technologies to innovative technologies have been focused on academically.
Industrial partners have also take part in the conference via the exhibition area and have found the opportunity to create efficient collaborations with universities.
Keynote speakers from Turkey, Europe and USA major research centres in other countries, and companies have participated.
A broad conclusion is that solar electricity related research has evolved rapidly in Turkey in recent years, and this is being

followed by a rapid expansion of solar electricity technologies, especially PV, into the commercial sector in Turkey.
