Radiation is maximum during summer months between 10 am to 2 pm. Hence care has to be taken byminimizing or shading the horizontal surface area for comfort in harsh summer months.

Radiation is maximum during winter months between 10 am to 2 pm. Thus habitable spaces that arerequired to be heated during winter can be placed facing south, but also have to be partially shadedduring summer months.

N-E and N-W can be the most comfortable spaces for habitation ( reading spaces and officespaces) as the a,ount of radiation received is low and good quality of natural light can be achievedwithout glare.

Intense radiations on SE in morning hours and SW in the evening hours. Full Shading required. Exposed wall area to be kept to minimum through orientation or form. The surfaces can be light in color to reflect excess heat. Only small and deep windows should be provided.

This surfaces has receives least radiation hence it is best for having maximum openings for daylightas well as for ventilation whenever required.

Diffused glare-free north light thus can be utilized to its fullest by providing north facing skylights also.
