Copyrights laws:Protect authors' rights

Patents:Protect inventors rights

Trademark laws:Assure that people know what they are buying !

Are copyrights good ?

Copyrights promote creativity.

Copyrights doesn't endorse monopoly.

Are Patents good ?

Patents sacrifices some freedom for the sack of publishing ideas.

Patents promote creativity as well !

Patents promote competition.

Intellectual Property what is that ?!

In 1967 the WIPO* was founded.

.... Then in time gigantic enterprise entities started steering the wheel of Intellectual Property .

Now Intellectual Property is a mixture of Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks

It can be regarded as a title of monopoly !

So how can Software patents be bad ?

The over generalization of the term Intellectual Property.

Applying Patents to software will ultimately restrict our freedom.

There will be NOTHING called alternatives !

The Car analogy !

What if we bought a gorgeous Porsche?

What if Porsche decided to restrict who rides with us ?

What if Porsche also decided on which roads should this car operate ?
