Sodium segment

The CIECH Group is the second largest producer of soda ash in the European market.It also manufactures sodium bicarbonate and calcium chloride. Sodium segment of the Group includes four production plants in Europe – in Poland (in Janikowo and Inowrocław), in Germany (Stassfurt) and in Romania (in Ramnicu Valcea).

Organic segment

The CIECH Group is also the largest Polish producer of plant protection products. It is also one of the largest producers of resins in Poland and PUR foam used in the furnitu-re industry. The products included in this segment are manufactured by the companies CIECH Sarzyna (plant protection products and resins), and CIECH Pianki (PUR foam). Silicates and glass segment.

Silicates and glass segment

In this segment, CIECH Group has three production plants – in Poland (Iłowa and Żary) and in Romania (Ramnicu Valcea) – as CIECH Vitrosilicon and CIECH Soda Romania. In Iłowa, glass containers and sodium and potassium water glass are produced, in Żary – vitreous sodium and potassium silicates, while in Romania – vitreous sodium silicates and sodium water glass.

CIECH is an international, professionally managed capital group, being the leader in the chemical industry in Eastern and Central Europe. It manufactures products from which articles needed in the daily lives of people around the world are produced. Using the sup-port of a credible strategic investor (Kulczyk Investments), it carries out the global development strategy, expanding the sale on the world markets. Here it combines the modern approach to business with production tradition dating back to 1882.

The main products of CIECH Group is soda ash, baking soda, salt, polyester and epoxy resins, sodium and potassium silicates, glass products, AGRO products and other chemicals. They are used, inter alia, in the glass industry, food industry, furniture industry, for the production of detergents, in agriculture and construction.

Ciech Group has eight manufacturing plants located in Poland, Germany and Romania and it employs more than 3.7 thousand competent and experienced staff.

The production of COMFORT jars takes place in Company CIECH Vitrosilicon, in the plant in Iłowa. The company is the only manufacturer in Poland of COMFORT type jars with a glass lid and metal closing.

The production of COMFORT jars was launched in 1993 and has been gradually developed in accord-ance with the customers’ expectations.

The company has a modern machinery stock which is constantly modernized. This translates into the quality of the manufactured products and enables continuous development of the product range.

COMFORT jars offer is addressed to recipients re-quiring increased aesthetics of products.

The jars are used on the HoReCa market, processing market and consumer market.

COMFORT jars are very practical and aesthetic reusable glass contain-ers, which thanks to their advantages enjoys a high recognition among consumers.

Modern designCOMFORT jars attract attention with their shape and solution as for the closing. They constitute a complete jar with the closing because there is a glass lid attached to the jar, with a gasket and a clip closing. Standard gaskets are available in white and optionally in red and orange (except for the listed colours, you can choose another colour – as per special order).

Health and safetyHealth and safety Glass is a chemically neutral material and does not contain in its composition of any harmful substances, it is therefore fully safe for storing good in glass jars.

FunctionalityCOMFORT jars are reusable, which, that depending on the needs and own idea of the user can be used, among others, For the storage of preserves, loose products (e.g. flour, groats, pasta), salads for work or other, not necessarily food products.

ConvenienceTransparent closing makes it easier to identify the products stored e.g. in deep kitchen drawers. Clip closing is easy to open, in the event of sucking simply pull the gasket, which has a special inset. The lid is attached to the jar, therefore we do not have to look for closing, but at the same time it is easily demountable in case the need for separate cleaning of glass and metal.

Variety of patternsThe standard offer includes jars of different shapes and capacities, offered in two types of lids: small and big. It is also worth to remember, that offer of COMFORT jars is constantly being extended.

Care for the environmentGlass and metal elements of COMFORT jars are excellent recycled materi-als, suitable for reprocessing. With conscious purchase of glass COMFORT jars, the customer has the impact on the environment protection.
