Letter from your RC

I’m in love with the SoCo.

Hello Southern Comfort!

I literally cannot contain my excitement knowing that RoKS is this weekend! Before coming to RoKS, I want you all to reflect on what exactly you want to gain out of this conference. There is not a right an-swer. I ask this of you, because knowing what you want to gain from this weekend will truly shape your experience.

To new members. This is just the beginning. I am thrilled that you have taken the first leap into your AIESEC career. This is AMAZING. Just remember that you are never alone. You have so many other del-egates that have been in your footsteps; that have had the same EXACT thoughts that you are having right now.

To old members. I always say that the second, third (even 6th for some of you!) time you attend RoKS is the greatest. There is always something new to learn at these conferences no matter how many times you have been there. I have a challenge for you: help the new members. Help them see the reason why YOU chose to come back and why you are still a part of this organization.

Lastly, I want you all to make the best of your expe-rience. Don’t expect RoKS to be worthwhile or ex-citing if you are not ready to give your 100% into this conference. Go up to someone new, spark a deep conversation, TAKE A RISK, do something worth talking about. Be yourself!

I am looking forward to participating in this confer-ence as your RC, and I hope that we can not only leave with memories but we can build a momentum to make SoCo the #1 OGX region and top repre-senting region in the national plenary. Does this goal scare you? Good. We are already at a good start! :)

Peace and love always,Chinonso Cynthia Onukwugha

Letter from your OCP

Hey AIESEC!

I’m so excited to meet all of you at roks in a few days, and the organizing committee has worked so hard to pull this off, and we really hope you enjoy this as much as we do.

RoKS was the conference when I first realized what AIESEC had the true potential to do, and it’s where i really bonded with my LC, met oth-er AIESECers, and it’s the rea-son i’ve stayed in AIESEC and thrown myself into the AIESEC way of life.

I hope you take the chance to immerse yourself as fully into the culture here as pos-sible, because AIESEC is one hell of a ride, and roks is just the beginning!

@ly yours,

Vivian Chew
