Sock A Thon 2016Hi My name is Scott, you are receiving this because I know you, or someone we both know has sent this to you and I want to tell you about a dream of mine.

Last year for my birthday I asked for new socks, not for me but for the homeless of Orange County. Socks are the most needed and least donated item at Homeless Shelters so.... I want to help fix that. Because of generous people like you, our sock drive last year was a HUGE success. Last year my goal was to raise 400 pairs of socks and we blew that out of the water donating over 1,200 pairs of socks in just 10 days.

This coming January I will be celebrating a mile stone birthday and along with you I want to help even more homeless Men, Women, and Children have fresh, clean socks for the winter.

My goal this year is to collect 5,000 pairs of NEW socks and donate them on my birthday, January 12th, 2016. I will be donating them to the same place we did last year called Marys Kitchen in Orange Ca. You can read about them here: http://maryskitchen.org/

Here are 5 ways you can participate: 1. You can purchase socks on Amazon and have them mailed to me directly. PLEASE MESSAGE ME FOR THE ADDRESS. to sockittome2016@gmail.com When you order your socks if it asks you

for a phone number use my cell, if you don’t have it Ill send it to you with the mailing address. If you have an Amazon Prime account the shipping will be free. Be sure to include a gift receipt so I know who sent them and I can say thank you!

2. If you don't have the time to go shopping you can send us a gift card to anywhere they sell socks and we will go do the shopping for you. Send me an email to sockittome2016@gmail.com for the address.

3. Do you have your own company? You could put out a collection basket at your office and have your employees contribute.

4. Do you know someone who works for a sock manufacturer, or clothing company? If so, tell them our story and see if their company can donate any socks.
