Situation of language and culture in Baluchistan

Baluchistan is a multi-lingual Province, where the situation of language is different.

Three major languages are spoken in Baluchistan ( Baluchi, Pashto, Bravi )

Their language of interaction is Urdu

Language

Brahui language

Brahvi or Brahui speaking people include

Zehri, Lehri, Mengal, Lango, Bezenjo,

Rehsani, and Husni.

Brahui is considered the Dialect of Balochi.

Main dialects of Brahui language are Kalat,

Jhalawan, and Sarawan.

Brahui language is mainly spoken in Kalat.

The speakers of this language are Magsi, Umrani, Dashti, Nosharwani, Khosa, Gichki, Rind, Marri, and Bugtti.

They have dialects, regional and social. Makrani dialect is completely

unintelligible to other Balochi dialect “Balochi Academy” in Quetta.

Pashtu is the language of Pashtuns. The Pashtu speaking tribes of

Baluchistan include Kakar, Tareen, Kasi, Mandokhail, Achakzai, Sherani, Durani and Luni.

Pashtu has two dialects Southern and Northern or Softer and Harder.

The dialect of Hurnai (Tareeno) is unintelligible
