No. of pages: 168. The title of the book was also the theme of a seminar held at the beginning of 1977 in Bologna. The principal contributions to this seminar were delivered by A. Fonzi, E. Ponzo, R. Much importance is given to the regulating of interindividual interaction by non-verbal communication, the study of different systems of communication from an interdisciplinary point of view, the links between verbal and non-verbal communication, the mastering and improvement of necessary communication skills, the role of pre-verbal communication in the acquisition of language, the links with some forms of autism in children.
