In this advertisement, it shows stereotype on the foreign maids or workers, most of

them came from Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Cambodia, Myanmars, Nepal and

Bangladesh. People will normally stereotype them as poor who came from rural areas

or even orphanage. Some of the maids who come to our country is to earn more

money to support their families. People will also keep away from them as they

consider them untrustable because people think that when they earn less money doing

such jobs and need more money so they will steal money from other people or steal

expensive items in the owner house when they are they have the opportunity. People

will group these foreign workers job as maids who clean our houses, constructor who

build or renovate buildings and even waiters. As such most of the restaurants in our

country there would be foreign workers cooking in the kitchen and waiters serving us.

They had been stereotype as the people who do all the hard works.

In our thought, we will automatically stereotype someone even though who is just

walking by, but we cannot trust our stereotype, sometimes stereotype is false, for

example we cannot stereotype rich people are always proud while poor people who do

all the things for rich people. Just like how we treat foreign workers, although we are

a bit richer than them, we cannot feel disgust to them. We grow in different country

and culture so we will assume that uneducated people will be poor and immoral. And

we had been taught that they are poor since young so we stereotype them are poor and

with bad attitute. Even some of us, when we are kids, the foreign maids already come

and serve and take care of us, so we will judge them as lower class than us and they

need to work for us. There are also rich people who are very kind and friendly who

treat poor people as friends. In my conclusion, humans are all equal.
