PARAGUAY SPI NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2030
• In 2013, Paraguay became the first country in the world to officially adopt the Social Progress Index as a metric of national performance.
• This year, Paraguay presented its National Development plan, a governmental strategy aligned to Social Progress Indicators.
• As a result, the budget allocation for nutrition programs has doubled and Paraguay has set a target of 2% or less for child malnutrition by 2018.

SPI EL CABRERO: MEASURING SPI AT COMMUNITY LEVEL IN CHILE TO GENERATE COLLABORATION BETWEEN LOCAL GOVERNMENTS AND FIRMS
Among the main results of the SPI El Cabrero (54 indicators), MASISA found that in the community there is an opportunity to invest on access to communication and information, access to higher education and environmental quality.
Besides the information obtained from the measurement will be an important input for the preparation of a new Community Development Plan. And will have the collaboration of the local government, academia and businesses.
