What makes the world go round? What happens when you

get a global network of people, who each and every day interact with

one another......we make exchanges, create

informal debts and IOUs and spend money

Money makes the world go round

But what is money?

A piece of paper

A coin

An electronic transaction

Or, is it?

A unit of measurement

A means of exchange

A trust mark

A guarantee

Why do we have money?

Money has always existed in some form or another, whether that be trading shells, or writing checks.

The reason is because we are all

SOCIAL

Money is social

We never have and never will stay in our caves. In order to see things, and to experience things we would not otherwise experience, and have things we would not otherwise have, we need something to exchange.

But money is the root of all evil?

• NOOOO. Money is good, money helps us meet, connect and do shit. Yes, money makes the world go round.

What does this all mean?

• Well, it means we are screaming, literally screaming out for social payments. We have social networks, social media, social commerce, well just about social everything but what about social payments. One of those how did I ever function without it kind of things that transforms the way we live, connect and interact with others

What are the ingredients for social payments?

• Network of people

• Units of exchange

• Want to connect

• Want to experience things

• Explore the world

• Nurture relationships

• Build new relationships

• Breathe, eat, sleep, work, love, live
