• You need metrics in order to understand your audience

• Back before the internet, the only metrics you had were reports that came out every so often.

• Metrics today are in real-time, meaning they are updated every second*

• Metrics can now be broken down by gender, country, income, education, location, computer type, operating system, and lots more.

• Analyze tweets, posts, pictures, comments, and video content.

• Interesting Fact – Online shopping increases late at night, any reasons why? Especially on Friday and Saturday nights
