STEP 1: GO TO WORDPRESS.COM & CLICK “SIGN UP NOW”:

STEP 2: USE THE “BLOG ADDRESS” FIELD TO NAME YOUR BLOG

STEP 3: CONFIRM OR CHANGE THE SUGGESTED USERNAME

STEP 3: SELECT AND CONFIRM A PASSWORD

STEP 4: ENTER YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS

STEP 5: CLICK THE “SIGN UP” BUTTON!

Note: Your

page may not

display the

button correctly

STEP 6: CHECK YOUR EMAIL

STEP 7: CLICK ON THE EMAIL LINK TO ACTIVATE YOUR BLOG

Click on the

email link to

activate your

account

CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR BLOG IS NOW ACTIVE!

STEP 1: LOG IN TO WORDPRESS.COM

User login is at

the top left

corner of the

WordPress.com

homepage.

STEP 2: GO TO YOUR “NEW POST” PAGE

STEP 3: ADD YOUR TITLE AND CONTENT

Title

Text

Everything

else, including

photos,

videos,

document

files and

more…

STEP 4: PREVIEW YOUR POST Select the

“Preview”

button at the

top right

corner of the

page.

STEP 5: PROOFREAD YOUR POST IN PREVIEW MODE

Be sure to

scroll all the

way to the

bottom of the

page when

proofreading!

STEP 6: CLOSE YOUR PREVIEW PANE

Just use your

browser “close

window”

button and

you will be

returned to

the editing

screen.

STEP 7: PUBLISH YOUR POST

CONGRATULATIONS, YOUR BLOG IS NOW LIVE!

on the post

editing page to

automatically

link your blog

to your social

media sites

MANUALLY SHARE YOUR BLOG ON FACEBOOK STEP 1: Copy the blog URL and Paste into your Facebook status bar:

STEP 2: Click “Share” and…

STEP 3: That’s it! You’re done.

Instant hyperlink to

your blog from any

Facebook page…

STEP 3: SELECT THE UPLOAD/INSERT “MEDIA” ICON

(Hint: it’s the

like a sun.)

STEP 3: CLICK “SELECT FILES” AND CHOOSE FILES TO UPLOAD
