INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL PROGRAMME

INTRODUCTION

Socca Dream and FGA Soccer Academy have created a new platform for players from the

age of 14 to 23. The partnership will allow many talented players to expand their soccer

knowledge training and competing against the best professional and semi-professional

Italian football teams.

CONCEPT

The idea behind the programme is to create opportunities for many South African soccer

players that aspire to play competitive football abroad. Our range of programmes are

available to young players from all over the world, offering the opportunity to come to Italy

and play in front of scouts and coaches from professional football clubs, and to be trained

by highly qualified UEFA Coaches. Many of our staff members also have experience in

scouting for professional teams, and our network of contacts is vast and varied.


THE FACILITY

IFP dispose world class facilities based in Milano at Basiglio Milano Calcio Center, where

players can train in highly professional & friendly environment where technology and

specific training sessions will be at the disposal for all the players. The sport centre is located

30 minutes from Milano Malpensa Airport and only 20 minutes from the centre of Milan.

FOCUS OF THE PROGRAMME:

Improve the tactical and technical abilities of the player

Formation and decision making

Competing against well organised teams

Performing under pressure and utilising full resources

Use of the perforce analysis to improve the game plan

During every academy program, a series of friendlies will be arranged to enable each player

to put into practise what has been learned during the training session and that will give a

great chance to impress scouts and coaches.

Individual football trials will be organised on a one on one basis and it will depend on several

factors which will be decided by the academy staff, once we assess the players’ potential.

THE AC MILAN MUSEUM & SERIE A LIVE GAME

Our programme will include a visit to one of the famous temples in Italian football, the AC

Milan Museum. This is a once life experience where you can immerse yourself in the history

of one of the most prestigious clubs in the world. Our programme will also include the

opportunity to go and watch a Serie A live game at the Stadio Meazza in Milan.

ACCOMMODATION

The Programme encompasses a comprehensive weekly football timetable whilst at the

same time providing realistic and genuine opportunities to progress into professional

football clubs, through our contact network built up over many years of success. All players

will stay in our beautiful hotel situated 10 minutes from the training grounds. All meals and

drinks are provided for the duration of your stay, as is transport to and from your arrival

airport (except 1 week trials) as well as to training and matches.

24 WEEK STAGE LONG TRIALS (6 MONTHS)

The 24 week stage long trial is a full immersion trial where players will have the opportunity

to improve their style of play and master the ability to play excellent football. The results will

open concrete opportunities to start a professional football career.

The players included in the course can also join certified Italian language school (as extra

activity) to master the foreign language, allowing them to adapt quickly to the new
